Part dynamic relationship builder and part self-proclaimed math nerd, Kahren earned a double major in Marketing and Finance from Western Washington University—a combination that still lets her use both sides of her brain every day. And she'll be the first to admit that coloring inside the lines has never been her strength. Her passion is solving complex financial puzzles and finding opportunities others may overlook. Kahren specializes in strategic mortgage planning, conventional, FHA and VA financing, investment properties, self-employed borrowers, unique income and asset scenarios, and creative solutions for borrowers whose stories don't always fit neatly inside the box. As an independent mortgage broker, she combines broad access to lending options with the experience to help clients determine which strategy makes the most sense for their individual goals. She loves cooking, gardening, entertaining, traveling, boating, skiing and golfing—but she's often happiest at home on the river, gathered around the fire pit with her partner, friends and family. And then there are Hank and Harper, her beloved Vizslas and longtime four-legged members of the family, who are fairly certain they're actually in charge.
